Victoria’s Secret has basically become synonymous with sexy and in this ad campaign they attempt to answer the question “What is sexy?” by showing off their models. By observing the behavior, attitudes, and dress one can discern what their perceptions of sexy are. Sexy is having an amazing body with long beautiful hair, incredibly white teeth, endless confidence, and wearing basically nothing.

We are students enrolled at American University in Washington, DC. We are attempting to observe and document how sex and sexuality have surfaced in the public sphere. This project was created after extensive discussion of Caleb Crain's article in the New Yorker. We are hoping to share mass observation with the public and inspire others to take part in the mass observation movement.
